PROJECTS
Throughout the year, the PTO takes on different projects with the purpose of raising funds, promoting school pride, academic enrichment and, last but not least, sponsoring activities that allow the students and teachers to have FUN!
Field Trips
With funds raised throughout the year, the PTO is able to help fund field trips for each class. Our students have been to the Abilene Zoo, the National Ranching Heritage Center, area Universities and many more! We also provide class T-shirts that not only look great, but keep our children safe by making them easy to identify.
Fundraisers
Spirit tattoos, Scholastic book fair, UIL concessions, Cookie dough and other goodies, spirit T-shirts and Tiger Packs are some of our major fundraisers that allow us to further support our teachers and students.
Tiger Pride
During football season, PTO volunteers gather to fill the hundreds of Spirit Tattoo orders that are placed by students. It's a great opportunity for the PTO members to get to know eachother too. For $1-2, students purchase a Tiger Pride temporary tattoo that they take home and, with the help of their parents, can apply and wear to school on Football Friday. They are all set for the game!
Academic Enrichment
We've provided everything from 3rd graders with chrysalises the library and teachers with books. Ultimately, we want our children to be successful and the PTO is on a mission to do what we can to make it happen.
